Description: For over 30 years, Johnson Braund has done the prototype design for the Residence Inn brand hotel. This includes the early generation designs of the groundbreaking extended stay hotel, when it stood alone as its own hotel chain. We stayed with the Residence Inn brand after Marriott acquired the company in 1987 and have been working with Marriott to keep the brand's identity, design and amenities fresh with guests across North America. The Marriott prototype is currently in its 9th generation of design and is continuously evolving to meet changing market demands.
