William araka

William was born in Mombasa, Kenya. He did most of his schooling including high school and college in Nairobi, Kenya. William graduated from University of Nairobi with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture in September 2020, and later moved to Settle, Washington, April 2021. He worked at the Design Collectives in Seattle before joining Johnson Braund in 2022. The fact that a small thought or concept can evolve into something tangible, for instance a building, made him want to study architecture. His love for architecture has made him participate in numerous architecture competitions for fun. Aside from architecture, William enjoys playing soccer, watching soccer and playing soccer console games (FIFA). He also enjoys traveling and going to the gym.

Fun facts: William's first language is Swahili. He was the team captain of his architecture class soccer team and led them to 2 finals. They were victorious in one of the two. He was position #28 country wide (Kenya) in the final exams of Kenya Certificate of Primary Education. (KCPE).
